Ever want to create an animation for the image of your favorite character with your own voice, add some animation to your friends’ photos with music or simply add some animation to your favorite music and then play back the animation on your phones, tablets and computers? The software Raid lets you do that easily. Raid is an animation software product that can be used to quickly create an animation based on image warping and deformation. The unique features of Raid make it interesting and enjoyable to work with. The built in sound record utility can record and add any sound to an animation easily. The animation created by Raid can be played directly on Apple's iPhones, iPads and any other Flash enabled devices.
Raid allows users to freely define a region for performing image deformation by adding warping dots on an image and setting the radius of the warping brush. An animated gif can be assigned to each warping dot and played back along with warping. The software comes with an intuitive interface which makes it easy to work with.
Raid has 3 modes. For the Linear mode, the animation frames are generated by moving the warping dots from their original positions to the destination positions and moving them back. The warping dots defined on an image are grouped by their levels. When an animation is played back, it’s played according to the warping dots levels so that different part of the image can be animated at different times.
For the Movie mode, the animation frames are generated by capturing any image deformation performed. Since it functions as a screen recorder under this mode, the animation generated under this mode is more realistic. Since Raid comes with a sound recorder which allows any sound to be recorded and used for an animation, it’s fairly easy to synchronize the dots movements with any background music so that the animation created is synchronized with the background music.
The Frame mode provides a way to manually add frames.
